「We had a great time in West Virginia and the Chalet. The properry was well maintained and the host was very proactive with checking in to see if we arrived and got inside without incident, and to see if we needed anythjng. 」

This year I decided that a week away from the routines of my day-to-day life were in order; I've had an in-progress bit of writing collecting digital dust for longer than I'd like to admit.What I needed? Fresh air, a quiet property, and a natural setting in which I could take short strolls. Spotting wildlife, especially the local birds, in their natural habit would definitely be a plus! Anything to get my writing...

「Had a wonderful three day stay in this rustic mountaintop cabin. Kitchen was decently stocked, both bathrooms worked well, and beds were comfortable. Owner was very responsive to the one question we had. Would definitely book again.」

「The cabin was small but cute and very well equipped. The setting was stunning. A shaded grassy yard leads to the river, which was beautiful and had a view of the mountains. The river was swift but very shallow. Not deep enough to kayak or canoe but perfect for a beach chair with your feet in the water. Watch the weather because there’s a very low and narrow bridge you have to cross to get in/out of the area. It was flooded when we left but we got out just in time. Again, gorgeous...

「It was clean. It had a beautiful drive to it and it was tucked up in the woods. It would be nice if there was curtains, but that is OK. You are surrounded by trees. Enjoyed our visit. Has a very cute town nearby. Wasn’t in the house very much was enjoying all the scenery.」

「We appreciated how welcoming the owner is to 4-legged family members and the options for dog-walking - both around the neighborhood and at the state park that is across the road. The property is very clean so you would never know that other dogs had been there. The property is perfect for a relaxing get-away. Our entire family enjoyed it.」
