「We had quite a bit of snow during our stay. It was nice to get up and have the sidewalk and the stoop shoveled. We have stayed in this house a couple of years now the host is very welcoming and easy to work with. The only suggestion that I have during the winter months is to get a longer rug by the front door for boots and shoes since the floor is hardwood. 」

「A great apartment right on main street in Nauvoo. It wasn’t a problem and I didn’t think to contact the host, but we couldn’t figure out how to get the heater to work in the living/kitchen area but we were fine with the heat in the bedrooms. All went well! Thanks for a great place to stay!」

「I stayed in Nauvoo for 5 nights. Two nights at the Hobbit house and three nights at another place. We only stayed two nights at the Hobbit house because it was so much more expensive. If I had to plan again I would spend the extra and stayed all week. It was all on one level, way cleaner, and had a huge comfortable tub. The charm of the place was sensational.
