"It was a wonderful, quiet, peaceful cabin on the lake. It was clean when we arrived and loved all the little extra touches. There was an issue with the hot tub and toiletries but the owner responded immediately and exceeded our expectations. Overall it was great. I would recommend that a vacuum and some more cleaning supplies be available for cleaning up after ourselves."

"The highlight of our stay was the pool. Two families stayed here for our spring break with 5 kids (ages 16, 14, 14, 11 and 11). Everyday the kids were enjoying the pool. We did have a snowstorm while we were there that caused the power to flicker and internet to be spotty. We had to shovel the drive/front steps ourselves. Good stay overall and we would recommend to others."

"This is our 2nd stay at this property as we have celebrated New Years with friends two consecutive years. Everything was as good as the first time. No snow this time and lake wasn't quite frozen, but the property was still fantastic. There is so much space between the 2 buildings that even with a large group plenty of beds for everyone. Kids (and adults) love the game room."

"We loved this property. We had 5 adults and 2 kids, 7 and 10 years old. One of the adults and the 2 kids hung out at the house while 4 of us hiked many miles of the Ice Age Trail. The kids joined us for a few miles at the Dells of the Eau Claire and then went back to the property to play and hang out. We had a fire in the fire ring, played croquet, and ladder golf. The house was immaculate. Highly recommended!"

"It was a quiet and relaxing place. Birds were migrating, the first weekend in April. It was a little muddy, so bring your mud boots, binoculars and field book is required."

"My husband and I were looking for a secluded place on water with canoeing, fishing and walking distance to a bar/restaurant. This was perfect! The water was not for swimming but the cabin came stocked with a kayak, canoe, row boat and a paddle boat. The main house was perfect for what we needed - bed to sleep, deck to sit on with our coffee and fully stocked with kitchen, bedding needs. "Needed a shut down after move and all that involves. Just what the doctor ordered. Be sure and stop at Heartbreakers for dinner. The cabin and the surrounding area was all we needed."

"Great place to stay for the long weekend. It is a bit dusty and bathroom's door won't close but besides that all is good. Also, you need to take your garbage out yourself to the dump station but you need a tag to get in. We did not get a tag so we had to drag our garbage home with us..."

"This riverfront cabin was just right for our family of six. Modern rustic appeal and very well-furnished kitchen. There were plenty of comfy beds for our crew. Kids had fun using the kayaks and rowboat for many hours on the river. Two outdoor grills, screened porch, and bags game, all in a private secluded spot along the river. My only suggestion is to put some steps along the steep grade down to the river. It’s a bit slippery! All-in-all a wonderful four days spent in a peaceful, comfortable...

"The retreat was exactly as pictured and as described. It was incredibly cleaned and stocked with any and everything that we needed, that we may have forgotten, including a first aid kit. The extra surprise was the plunger in the bathroom, which gave us a great laugh. Loved it and would definitely come back. Thank you for sharing your home with us.
