“Great place! Clean, very clean and cozy! Right on the lake! Probably the best fire pit and view we’ve ever had, and we’ve been around! Only downside would be that cottages are close to each other and in busy weeks you may have loud people next door. We could hear conversation from the cottage next door in the evening, not enough to bother us or to take off a star from such an excellent property, but just something to be aware of. If you are looking to be near the water you can’t get closer than this! It’s near downtown and the trail. There is a double bed so this is best for a single person or a couple that likes to snuggle. “The house was absolutely beautiful inside and felt so comfortable, even without air conditioning. The setting is so peaceful—you can even hear the gentle waves from the lake on some nights, which was such a treat. We loved spending time in every space, especially relaxing on the large porch. The pool was wonderful and became our go-to for swimming since the lake had a bit of algae along the shore. Overall, it was such a relaxing and enjoyable stay—we didn’t want to leave!”
