Americas Best Value Inn New Paltz

10/10 Excellent

"Our stay was very nice."

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Saugerties - Hudson Valley by IHG

10/10 Excellent

"Excellent hotel all around. Pleasant and accomodating staff - everyone we dealt with was professional, helpful and polite. The hotel is recently updated and very clean - lobby, hallways, staircases, bathrooms, our room. It was actually THE cleanest hotel we ever stayed at. Breakfast very nice, 2 protein choices, fresh fruit, etc. Location is great too - close to everything. Definetly recommend."

Buttermilk Falls Inn

8/10 Good

"There were a mix of pluses and minuses but on a whole once I checked in it was a good experience. The property is beautiful, my room was clean, comfortable and the breakfast and service in the morning was efficient and friendly. That being said it was impossible to get in touch with this staff beforehand and they’re running on a skeleton crew, with workers on the premises only a few hours a day. The restaurant, Henry’s, on the property is closed, the spa relocated and the bathroom in the common area was out of order. For what I paid for my room on Expedia I was able to accept the shortcomings and enjoy my stay, but if you’re paying full price, I would do a little research."

Woodstock Way Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Our room was a suite and it was very well laid out, we had a nice couch and some chairs and a large screen TV. They also had a turntable with some records to listen to which was pretty cool. The view out the windows was beautiful, we sat on the deck and had a glass of wine and it was so peaceful. They have a very cozy coffee shop with excellent coffee and a nice peaceful vibe where you can sit and relax and enjoy a cup of coffee, read a book or even use your computer."

New Paltz Way Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Everything about New Paltz Way is top tier! My husband and I spent a long weekend here in one of the king-sized suites. The whole hotel is beautiful. The outside is deceptively masculine and high-end plain. The inside is lovely: warm, clean, and cozy. The room itself was immaculate, and while the furnishings are simple they’re intentional. The balcony has a view of the river and rail trail, and my husband and I enjoyed evening tea up there every night. The amenities are all superb. The bath products are from DS & Durga and nicer than the expensive stuff I brought. The heated bathroom floor is an amazing touch. I loved that the coffee and tea bar is open all day and well into the evening, and the lobby has a great selection of vinyl to take back to your room and listen to on the record player. My favorite amenity was the spa though. The therapy pool was perfect after a long hike. It’s small and shallow but it’s not really for swimming, it’s for relaxing in the water. The steam room and ice room were new experiences for me. I liked that they were super clean and smelled amazing - breathing in that steam would cure anything that ails you! The sauna was my favorite of the four spa amenities. Outfitted in blonde wood and warm light, I def had to watch my time in there so I wouldn’t cook myself accidentally. The hotel staff are incredibly kind and accomodating. The hotel is near enough to downtown New Paltz and the bus station so you don’t need a car to get there. 10/10 time!"
