「Situated on a quiet cove makes swimming, floating and relaxing kayak rides a daily treat! The large dock makes relaxing in the sun or shade possible! The huge screened in porch welcomed science experiments, magic shows, great conversation, family puzzle time and the perfect spot for our morning coffee and evening quiet time!! Comfortable beds gave us a wonderful nights sleep!! We will be back!!」

「Quiet cottage in the woods, solar powered with a generator. Very peaceful and relaxing. Walk to the dock is fairly short. We brought a collapsible wagon, to tote chairs, cooler, and fishing rods , had no issues with the wagon on the trail. Highly recommend! If you are looking for peace and quiet and a place, this is your place! We will be back」

「Everything was perfect. We worked with the owner of the property through VRBO and it was very easy to communicate, ask questions and get answers. We visited twice prior to our reservation date to get a feel for who would sleep where of the 40 folks on our list of invitees. The owner was always very accommodating. 「We’ve been coming to Lake Gaston for many many years but this was a first at this house. It was by far the most beautiful and comfortable house we have ever rented. House was very well stocked for cooking. Plenty of space for storage and lounging. Our only complaint was the water space off the dock was pretty overrun by grass and weeds. We easily rectified that by going out on a pontoon for our swims. Hopefully we will be able to stay in this wonderful home again. Thank you for having us!!」
