“We had a lovely stay at Winstanley House, the staff and food at breakfast and in Black Iron were great! We asked for a quiet room as we are light sleepers and were given one which made us feel welcome as did our check in. Our room was very clean but there were a few marks on the wall and carpet including an iron mark, and the window frames had a few black marks from condensation which could have been wiped off. The mattress also had a dip in the middle and could do with replacing as we rolled……

“We had a great stay at Kilworth, I can’t fault anything . Room was very nice and all the staff were excellent in every way . The dining experience for dinner and breakfast was faultless , the quality of produce was obvious. ”

“Paul met us on arrival. Explained everything clearly. Very helpful and friendly. Dirty around property meaning on the main path outside property burst and rotten and smelly rubbish all along path guessing the council bin men have had strike action and council not quick enough to clean area up thoroughly.”

“Basic but comfortable room - great value for money. Friendly receptionist - only open 3-11pm. 10-15 min walk into town.”

“Great communication from host on how to check in. Very clean and modern room, complimentary coffee/tea/sugar as well as some bikkies. Felt very secure as there are 2 doors that need a code just to get into the building. Bed and pillows were comfy and a great bathroom with lots of space. Only downside is that it's not very sound proof, you can hear whenever someone enters the hall or outside, but other than that, highly recommended!”

“Very clean, lovely staff, good food options. We stayed 3 nights and should have booked a bigger room rather than standard but facilities great. Parking was busy on the Friday and Saturday for people using the restaurant but still got a space and parking is free!”
