“Room was clean and just what we needed. Staff were helpful, however when attending for breakfast I was told ‘it’s closing’ rather than just offered a seat, when breakfast was due to be open for another hour. We then also had a small bite in the lounge area the next day, and the food took nearly 40mins. We used the spa facilities, and these are always great. The room was comfy and just as we would expect. It’s the second time we have stayed, and would go back again. ”

“The staircase to our room is winding, and I need to go up and down before arriving at my room. The wall is thin and is not very sound proof, so I can hear what next door's saying and TV noise. It could be disturbing to someone during time for bed. There could be some seepage at the bath tub as there was a pool of water on the toilet floor after my shower, even though there was a glass door to stop water from splashing over to the floor. “Nice village hotel and our check in and room were good on the face of it. Other than the guy who checked us in, staff was generally rude. We had booked for breakfast at 08:00 on the first morning, and having travelled the previous day from Asia ended up waking earlier and found ourselves waiting in the breakfast room around 7:10, hoping to be able to request breakfast at 7:30 when it opened.
