Location, location.

If you are looking for a simple beach house with no frills with a three minute walk to the beach and 10 minute walk into Dewey central, this is the house for you. Phenomenal screen porch, great beds, and an outdoor shower to die for. Not the house if you like to cook, small kitchen and no dishwasher, but just fine for coffee making and quick lunches and snacks. The house also does have a nice grill out back. We would stay there again. Enjoy!!

We love Tom’s Porch!

Check in was very easy! Linens were provided & a large bag of clean towels was left for us on check in day. The indoor shower in the hallway is finicky & we had trouble getting hot water from there, but we just used the outdoor shower 90% of the time. The house was great, rooms were lovely & the beds were comfortable. The murals are adorabls & we loved the character of the house. I also loved the little binder with the history of Tom’s Porch, as a family who has gathered at Dewey Beach for decades, we can relate! It’s comfortable, spacious, quiet & close to the beach! The kitchen is a bit small & my sister brought her own k-cup machine because she is a coffee snob, but overall everything was great & i would absolutely book Tom’s Porch again!
