Things to be aware of: Room/ Bathroom: Extremely small, smelly, moldy, grimy, and dark. Beach area: Small, only hard packed sand with rocks on the shore, not good for lounging. Front desk staff: Rarely at the desk or working and rude. Fine Print/ cancellation policy: Make sure you read the find print and they keep reservation. Misleading advertising: faked out photos and using creative videos This hotel has horribly small claustrophobic rooms and bathrooms which feel grimy and tiny. For example, the bathroom door blocks the sink so you have to close the door to even get to the sink and the door almost hits the toilet. All the toilet seats are a way smaller size then the actual toilet. The room is barely large enough for the bed. The rooms on the ground floor have extremely low ceilings. The rooms at Ayvela Manta Village are absolutely not acceptable. So bad to the point that even after we paid for the entire stay we decided to leave and pay for another hotel. Do not be fooled by their tricky advertising with photos and drone videos of their courtyard, lobby, hallways, and beach. When you are actually on the island you realize their beach area is really small without soft sand that leads into the sea. They have a drone video that starts at the hotel entrance from the beach then it quickly pans out to focus on beaches that belong to other hotels. This hotel will lead you to believe it is on a nice beach but actually only has a small area.

My room was full of ants, cockroaches, caterpillars. Originally I was staying 5 nights but left next morning. There were other guests also left. We travellled from USA and spent lot money In travel and it was all disaster.

Un très bon rapport qualtié prix. Chambre petite mais largement suffisante et confortable. Petit bémol aucune insonorisation phonique. Personnel sympathique. Nous recommandons la chambre avec vue océan en hauteur Prix des plongées hypers abordables. Pour les repas, préférez commander à la carte(meilleur)...les buffets sont assez répétitifs, épicés et souvent froid.

A fantastic stay

We really enjoyed our stay Aveyla Manta Village. This is a boutique hotel. The property is right on the bikini beach. Our room was on the second floor facing the ocean and we really enjoyed the room and the balcony. Do yourself a favor and pay a bit more and don't stay inside the villag. You will enjoy a lot more this property. Liquid Salt Divers operate from the hotel which makes things easy and comfortable. They send a drone to check Hanifaru Bay which is really cool. We are vegans so the only thing we wish is that the chef was a bit more considerate. Many of the options could have been easily made vegan by taking out one ingredient. Still, we had plenty of food and it. The dining area which also serves as a hangout area was great. We would love to return to this magical place.

Beats a resort, hands down

I loved this place. On previous diving trips to the Maldives I stayed in resorts and Aveyla Manta Village had a much better feel. The other people staying there were a proper mixed bunch - in a good way. It felt like a lovely locally owned hotel on an island where people actually love to live. Not just a bunch of tourists being herded around and forced to sit at the same table every night like a bunch of lemmings. The hotel was spotless. Every morsel of food I ate was delicious. There is not enough fish on the menu but that was also my experience on other islands where food was not so well presented or well made. The staff were very accommodating. They were quiet and understated. The island is beautiful and the diving was special

โรงแรมติดชายหาด วิวสวย ตั้งใจจะไปดูปลากระเบนราหูแต่เดือนเมษายนไม่มีให้ดู และเป็นช่วงที่แขกน้อย ได้จองทริปไปดูโลมาและCoral garden ธรรมดาตะจัดเมื่อมีคนครบ4คน แต่มีลงชื่อแค่คนเดียว ทางเจ้าของรีสอร์ตก็จัดให้ไปคนเดียวเลย ในราคาเดิมคือคนละ35USD แบบรู้สึกVIPมากๆ ขอบคุณนะคะที่เห็นใจคนที่ต้องใช้เวลาบินไปจากกรุงเทพที่ค้องต่อDomestic flight เพื่อไปที่เกาะนี้ ถึงแม้จะไม่ได้ดูประเบนราหู ก็สนุกตื่นเต้นดีค่ะ

The hotel is exactly as shown in the images!

A 2 day visit to this hotel prior to leaving the Maldives. Extremely helpful and obliging staff and very good value for money. Also convenient for domestic airport with link to Male meaning a night on this island rather than over crowded Male.

Relax et détente !

Supers vacances d'une semaine à Aveyla ! Le point fort, c'est le calme qui y règne, on entend la mer tout le temps ! C'est une petite structure (16 chambres) sans faire vide non plus. Les chambres sont impeccables, les serviettes et les serviettes de plages renouvelées tous les jours. Si vous avez le choix, prenez les chambres en haut, elles ont un balcon avec vue sur la mer, la tête dans les palmiers. Nous étions en bas, c'est très sympa aussi, mais pas le même effet. Le personnel est vraiment gentil et très discret, il donne 2 petites bouteilles d'eau par jour (la grande bouteille est à 2,5$ en plus). La plage est super propre, sable blanc et eau bleue turquoise. Des magnifiques et nombreux poissons tropicaux à 10m de la plage directement sur le récif, un régal ! Il y a même une tortue qui venait le matin vers 10h :) Et on a vu passer 2 groupes de dauphins qui longeaient la plage. Concernant le repas, e petit-déjeuner est simple, café et thé, saucisse, beans, souvent des œufs, du jus de fruit frais, et du pain de mie avec toaster. Le déjeuner, c'est 15$ le buffet ou à la carte (9$ un burger, 6$ un dhal pour avoir une idée des prix). Il y a deux sortes de cuisines au buffet, occidentale et locale, la première est pas mal, la seconde super ! Epicée comme il faut sans que ça arrache non plus ;) Enfin, la guest room est aussi un centre de plongée PADi, ils offrent des excursions en snorkeling pour 35$ et des sorties en plongée pour 62$.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Location kind of boring but staff makes you feel at home. Food was very tasty. Owner is very kind. Ainth is the best helper I ever had. There is nothing to do on the island except for diving and snorkeling.

I had time of my life!

It is very difficult to feel dissatisfy in a Maldives hotel. Every picture is a poster there. Rooms are spacious, amazing food.The staff knew the balance between friendliness and privacy. Is value for money.

highly recommend Aveyla!

staff was helpful and we didnt worry abt flights/transfer at all We stayed in an Ocean View room. lovely to enjoy the fresh seabreeze & sit in the little balcony to read. hot water in shower. the decor is simple but works. they are generous with tea & coffee in-room. room cleaned daily, with water (two 500ml) & towels replenished.they had a turn-down service. highlight was the mantas. i'm not a gd swimmer but they had lifevests. the team always checked if we were doing ok so I felt safe. boat was well-maintained and staff had great ownership & warmth. food was VERY tasty and gd value for money. service excellent. highly recommend Aveyla for a fuss-free & relaxing time if u r into snorkeling/diving.

5 beautiful Days

I spend 5 beautiful Days in Aveyla Manta Village. I chose this Hotel because of the near to the Hanifaru Bay where the Mantas come (Mai-November) for a feeding.

Well priced stay in the Maldives

If you can't afford the pricey $1000 a night rooms at the other resorts just stay at Avelya and do resort visits. Good food and great staff.

Modern en netjes hotel/gasthuis erg genoten

Erg genoten van hotel en personeel, mooie kamers met alleen iets te kleine badkamer maar deze voldoet zeker goede bedden en voorzien van koffie en thee faciliteiten zoals ook een garderobekast en safe en goede airco ook handig balkon i.v.m drogen zwemkleding Verder goede duik voorziening en top divemasters tegen nette prijzen.
