「Great family style hotel - very friendly staff」

「We have just returned from a week at Hotel D’Olonne (or should I say Chateau D’Olonne). We were excited before arrival, and we were not disappointed. The hotel and its staff ensured a safe, welcoming and comfortable stay. Special shout out to Gloria who ran the reception like a boss. Super food in the atmospheric restaurant (think medieval banquet), and the best Aperol Spritz. Perfectly positioned to the main cable car and boot hire, and a 15 min scenic walk into the centre of...

「The hotel, whilst it looks fine from the entrance, is tired and in need of significant investment. The location is fantastic. Best part. We had a superior room with a fabulous direct view of Monte Bianco. Bathroom is old, dirty pointing around the bath, fittings at least 20 years old, broken dirty fan, etc. And they don’t make the beds properly-no duvet cover-just a duvet sandwiched between two sheets which turns into a twisted mess by morning. Breakfast was ordinary-lots of pastries, limited...

「It was very nice. We wasn't use to order the swimming pool in advance so we had some disappointment from the young jeneration. Do to the perfect location you dont need to walk for long from the bus stetion with the ski equipment.」

「In a beautiful quite village with breath-taking view of Mont Blanc! Yet quite a few facilities were closed during summer season. All kinds of tablegames are prepared, and decoration inside was very homey. Breakfast was full of choices. Francesca is not only friendly but helpful with all kinds of information. Fairly nice place to stay at.」

Rauhallisen hotellin ihanana kontrastina pieni kauppakäytävä aivan aulan oven ulkopuolella, joten palvelut (suksivuokraamo, hissiliput, ravintoloita, apteekki, kauppa ym.) aivan vieressä. 「The stuff are very nice with us and we had a very good experience with them but I think the hotel should upgrade the installation because there is even no drinking water in the room or a Hot water bottle and there is no microwave which is very inconvenient and we had two single bed and the bed is very small but I really have to say the stuff is very very nice with us so I’m really happy with that !」
