“Baymont is a motel style location, meaning that room entrance is from an exterior door. My room was surprisingly nice! Spacious, well equipped, and clean. Given that I needed to walk up a set of stairs and enter my room from an exterior door, I was a little skeptical. However, the room was very nice! There were a few minor housekeeping issues, but nothing that would caution me about staying here again. The location is also excellent, near the Punta Gorda airport and major highways. “If you are traveling with a pet(s) and going through Englewood Florida, this is the place to spend the night. We had a double queen bed room and it was more spacious than a lot of mini-suite rooms, and updated as well as clean. With two nice restaurants within 50 yards and a Dunkin down the road for an early coffee, this is once again truly the place to spend the night. ”

“Spacious rooms. Very comfortable accommodations. Well laid-out floor plan. The kitchen area was delightful and the refrigerator/freezer was a good size to accommodate all types of foods and beverages (no mini beverage can fridge here). The beds fresh and clean. And the bathroom, nicely updated with a walk-in shower and touch control vanity mirror. Plenty of seating options, and a nice-sized flat screen TV with full entertainment channel availability, just like home. All totalled, after this……
