“A classic hotel with comfortable, spacious rooms. Friendly and competent receptionists. Nice breakfast. Continent breakfast self-served buffet or hot, customised English breakfast That take quite a while. If come by train, need to get a taxi ride of 8-10 minutes. We arrived late in the evening. Have to queue for half an hour at the taxi stop.”

“The room was clean and comfortable. Yea and coffee provided. Plenty of space to get ready. Bed was comfortable. We had been out drinking and was a late night the morning after I asked if we could extend our check out time the request was accepted at no extra cost. “Friendly Staff, but room not fit for purpose, TV broken screen, shower pointless unless you want a cold shower, no pressure on warm/hot, restaurant had stopped serving when I arrived at 8:20pm, lights flickering, plug socket dubious and buzzing, room tired and dated, needs investment it rooms, I stay in around 40 different hotels annually and I can quite honestly say this was one of the worst rooms I’ve stayed in, and it takes a lot for me to complain, but it’s sub standard for sure. ”
