“Our stay at the Cozy Upper Room was great just as we expected. We stayed here before and will do so again. Mary is a great hostess, the room has everything you need, it is clean and comfortable . Feels very private and a great location. Easy walk to downtown Black Mountain. ”

“This property was beautiful. The perfect blend of antiquity and the "needs" of modern times. The host thought of everything that guests may need. This room is located not far from downtown Asheville and is a quick, easy commute . Communication with the host was clear and quick. ”

“Suite 2 was very nice and large space. It was basic...no frills. Great location. Walking distances to downtown Black Mountain. Would have wished i had known that we would not have access to the front porch as some other suites. If we did have access , it was not communicated that I remember. Also would have been nice to have somewhere to hang our clothes up. All in all it was a nice place with a great location. Thanks!”

“I booked a trip for my wife and her best friend for a ladies getaway. David and Meka were very communicative and super helpful. Other hosts could learn from them! The location is great, being so close to downtown. The apartment has many unique and special touches. David and Meka were very accommodating. I would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting the area! ”

“This loft was amazing and the location was perfect! There are two codes to gain access to the building and that made us feel extremely safe!! The beds were also super comfy! The amenities were top tier and we will definitely be staying here again! ”

“This property is very well appointed, particularly the kitchen and the unit is well designed if you have more than one couple; cute decor too without being cluttered. Just my husband and I stayed and we used the spare bedroom for a large closet. If you are elderly, there's a steep little flight of stairs for the upstairs units, but the parking places are right there, so that beats the condos downtown that require off-site parking.Drawback: the homeless population has expanded since Helene. “Very nice for a weekend getaway. Very quiet neighborhood. Good location to Black Mountain. Would recommend.”

“The property was great! Quaint, cute and clean. Perfect short walk to downtown. Stocked with the perfect amenities and necessities. We'll definitely book Downton Annie again. One small note about the parking... Super tight parking, but not much room for expansion, so it's understandable. Just be aware if you drive a midsize or larger. ”
