“Beautiful hotel and room. Staff very nice and helpful. No tv in room. A bit overpriced”

“Very nicely presented property with most helpful staff. Our best stay by far on Skye”

“Excellent! classic hotel with very beautiful restaurant ”

“Beautiful place.”

“The hotel is a few minutes walk from Mallaig train station, and the ferry terminal. There are two supermarkets and a few restaurants around the village so that one can easily get refreshments. I was amazed that the hotel is in a delicate traditional wooden decor, and has a relaxing garden terrace. I also enjoyed the window view a lot! The room was clean and it’s reception was excellent. I strongly recommend anyone who plan to visit any Hebrides islands, give the hotel a chance,.”

“The two gentlemen at the front were absolutely amazing! Both were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely good people. They always had a positive attitude and made us feel comfortable and appreciated. Their kindness and great customer service truly made our trip even better and more enjoyable. It’s people like them who make a place stand out. Thank you both for such a wonderful experience!”

“Really strong and clean shower which is important if you have been hiking and need to refreshen.”

“It’s an excellent hotel with good breakfast and service. We also enjoyed the distillery tour as well.”

“Great staff, good food. Room although outfitted well was a little small. Still worth the price.”

“Location near the bridge”

“一切都相當不錯，但有4點建議： 1.門鎖無法鎖上，晚上會令人有點擔心。 2.有微波爐會更加方便。 3.因為有蚊蟲，因此會緊閉門窗，但沒有空調換氣設備會有點悶。 4.浴室希望能有換氣設備可保持空氣清新。 其他都很完美。”

“What a beautiful area. Marion went above and beyond to help us navigate our day and get us back to the Portree area. Thank you for a wonderful (albeit unexpected!) adventure.”

“Great property. It is a remote location that is a bit of a drive to get to. It would be great (imho) for stays consisting of at least several days or longer. One suggestion for the property is to add a mirror over the bathroom sink. The mirror on the opposite wall isn’t as practical. Beautiful views and we enjoyed our stay! Thank you!”

“Perfect kings room, staff is very helpful and patient even experiencing massive power outage due to the severe storm. Breakfast is very nice and offers good grab and go breakfast.”

“Good ”
