“Lovely spacious room”

“located in the small downtown Lyme Regis, easy to go to the beach, shops and restaurants it is an very old inn, very tradition english wooden building, downstair is the bar and restaurant, a bit oily smell, beware of no air-con”

“A very disappointing stay. We booked a deluxe sea view (with large bay window) double or twin room via Expedia. On arrival at the hotel we did not get the room we booked and paid for. According to Expedia’s description and photographs the room we were given was a STANDARD double room for SINGLE occupancy. As the hotel was fully booked we had to tolerate this very small room with four steps up to the bathroom and really not enough room for two people. The room in no way bore any resemblance to……

“The rooms were clean and tidy, and the staff were polite.”

“Very comfy bed”

“房間不清潔，非常污糟”

“The room was lovely and the offer of a free drink in the bar in exchange for no housekeeping is clever. Such a good idea. Unfortunately the wedding in the hotel on Saturday night dominated all the communal areas of the hotel which meant that we couldn’t have the nightcap in the bar we were hoping for, as well as there being the thumping of the music from the wedding in our room until well after 11pm. “Well, we understood why our stay was such good value. The hotel is due to close this weekend! The state of the property reflected this. Dirty carpets, watered down bathroom soap, unclean decor, radiators etc. the breakfast we paid for was “adequate “ at best. All in all , it was not an experience I wish to repeat! The staff however were helpful and friendly.”

“Great breakfast and superb waterfront location!”

“The staff were very attentive and provided an excellent service”

“Full English Breakfast was excellent and added bonus of filtered coffee in a cafeteria. Both the owners were friendly and even helped me carry on of my bags up to the room. They were perfect hosts and welcomed our dog too.”
