“The Yankee Peddler was everything I expected after reading past reviews. Perfectly located (walking distance to the Lobster Shack and the Newport Harbor, Int'l Tennis HOF, Audrain Car Museum...) with the free shuttle stop right at the bottom of the stairs. The shuttle runs about Mid-May to late October taking you to the gilded age "cottages" and other places. Do the Cliff Walk! It's beautiful. The Inn and its keepers are awesome. “If you are looking to stay near Bowman’s Warf this is the perfect place. It’s quaint, quiet and the breakfast is delicious! They were so helpful and friendly and I will be returning! This Inn is in walking distance to the free trolley service and shopping.”

“We loved the Ocean room, which was spacious and had a large bathroom and a little, well appointed, kitchenette. It was very comfortable and clean. Everyone we met was lovely. They are dog friendly and that worked well for us! Breakfast was not lavish or hot, but adequate- yogurt, pastries , fruit and coffee.
My one quibble- the Inn is in a residential area about a 20-25 minute walk from any restaurants or shopping. So you had to drive, uber or plan to walk for 45 min (rt) if going to dinner or……
