"Well appointed guest house attached to farmhouse. Secluded property with all the amenities. Emily greeted us upon arrival and answered all our questions. Felt comfortable and safe just like home for us with the animals especially Zeke the cat who was always there to greet us"

Setting was beautiful, loved seeing the Amish and Mennonite traveling by horse and buggy. Nestled between farms on three sides was awesome. Would highly recommend! Plan on going back."

"I suppose I should lead with this is a pretty dated motel, but it's VERY clean. Like, not just OK-clean; it's evident that people are working extremely hard to keep this property as clean and upkept as possible, which isn't easy when a property is older. The care is evident. The hosts were very nice. We had a small problem after we checked in (that turned out to be nothing), and the host was at our door within a minute to check it. The towels were kind of scratchy, and the soap wasn't the best...

"The motel manager was rude and acted like we were inconveniencing him when we arrived at 10:40 pm at night. All he had to do was provide a working key to our room, but it took three attempts before the door would open. The next morning, he threatened that "karma" would get me. The rooms were clean but kind of smelled aged."

"We decided to book this as our children had a basketball tournament at Spookynook. We had a total of 15 people staying Friday -Sunday and we couldn't have asked for a better setup. Plenty of room and the amenities were top-notch. The boys appreciated being able to use the hot tub after a day of playing several games. The host was quick to respond to any questions we had. Would definitely stay here again."
