“Whilst the location is good the property itself isn’t great. The plantation shutters in both rooms were broken which not only looked shabby but also meant light from outside streamed through, especially annoying when the sensor light triggered and lit up the bedroom. Dodgy hot water, couldn’t guarantee you’d have a hot shower. Okay for a short stay but overall disappointing”

“The view is absolutely amazing and with the ferry right out the front we never needed to drive anywhere, very happy.”

“Listing somewhat misleading, cover photo of building in Darling Square is NOT the building the apartment is located in, apartment building is a block further away. Room was adequate, but showing its age. Self check in and check out via key in locked mail box, no on site staff for assistance or service. We were contacted numerous times after we left by various people saying they could not find the key that we had returned to their mailbox as instructed, before they eventually notified us that……

“It is a great location. The 5 minutes walk to Kings Cross Station is a bit seedy but 5 minutes in the other direction is Rushcutters Bay which is very peaceful (I like working there). Visiting in winter, it was very important to be able to take advantage of the sun and then rush back when it became less clement. Also, harbour bridge, circular quay, opera house, botanical gardens, are all within a nice stroll. The host was very helpful with checking in v early and checking out late.”
