“The room I originally booked they advised me during check in that it was full. I’m not sure if that was done on purpose. I asked for a refund of the difference and they told me they couldn’t and offered other services instead. It’s a bit hard to believe that a hotel has overbooked when everything was done online and the fact I couldn’t get a refund for the difference. “The hotel was cute and the Wi-Fi environment was excellent. However, the reason I gave the lowest rating is because of the disappointing response from the hotel staff. When I returned to my room and opened my toothbrush case in the bathroom, a cockroach came in through a gap. At that moment, I asked the hotel staff to change my room, but they refused. “The hotel and staff could not have been nicer. The property is great with the rooms surrounding two lovely pools. The food was universally good. And the room was excellent. Especially the huge semi-outdoor bathroom with a massive bath. (And, of course, shower.) As was the service. 20 minutes in one direction, Angkor Wat. And, in the other, the center of Siem Reap. It was ideal for five days of visiting the temples, providing both comfort and escape from the heat. Congratulations to all hotel……
