「If the weather forecast says it is raining in Bologna on the day you come, do NOT book a stay here. The key to the apartment is delivered to you by a person (it is not a keybox). This person is not allowed to use electric bike in the rain (no insurance, was the reason). The result for our stay was that we waited for 2 hours for the rain to stop, outside the entrance of the apartment. We offered to swing by where the person live in our taxi, to pick up the key, but there was a requirement that...

「Be aware it is close to nothing and you’ll need a car to get anywhere because taxis don’t go or get lost. Were from out of the area and had no idea how far it was, literally nothing near by for food. We had to walk away from the booking after paying for a cab, to then get another in the middle of the night. Thankfully some neighbors helped us with translating.」

"It’s a nice old-school hotel which is centrally located between the train station and the old town so ticked all boxes for us. Room was well appointed and dark when it mattered, bed was comfortable and A/C worked well. Only negative is that the mini bar was filled with items that auto charge to your account once you move them, so you can’t fit much of your own personal items in the fridge."
