Great place and ideal location to gather for the holidays on the Cape!

The house was just as advertised, very clean and comfortable near the bike path and the beaches. Kitchen had everything we needed, or wanted, to prepare a big Thanksgiving spread. We had a wonderful stay!

A comfortable house

The layout is excellent with a nice flow from the kitchen to the dining area to the living area. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped. The location is great with proximity to beaches and restaurants. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful.

Great proximity to the beaches

Great location and fabulous house. Loved the proximity to beaches, the big fenced backyard and fire pit! Very nicely decorated and has all the things you might need in the kitchen. For us it was a big plus that it is dog friendly. The owners even leave dog bowls which we didn’t know so we had brought our own. Very comfortable beds and pillows!

Great house!

Spotless, extremely comfortable and beautifully decorated. It looks even better than in the photos. Very comfy beds with high quality linens and pillows! We had a super vacay and would have used the fire pit if we had had more time. One week is just not enough! We have definitely decided we will return in the near future.

Awesome stay!

We really enjoyed this house! There were 5 of us and there is plenty of room with the 4 bedrooms. We noticed the queen size mattress feels brand new. The kids really loved the beach themed decorations and so did we - so not sure what the other reviewer was talking about. The house is spotless and the kitchen has everything you need to make delicious meals. We only got one day of rain and made use of the games and the movies. We will be back!

Perfect discovery!

First time, long time. Been coming to the Cape for years but this our first time staying in Eastham. What's not to love? Location, privacy, close to lots of good restaurants and beaches. Perfect for my college buddy, our wives, and our kids. Nothing like kicking back on the deck after a day at the beach. Grilling, eating at the outdoor dining table and then sitting around the fire pit making 'smores. And the hosts had cornhole set up! Loved it all. A hard YES on recommending this house!

Dog-friendly house in great, quiet location

We loved a lot about this house. It has plenty of bedrooms with comfortable beds and A/C throughout. There are two bathrooms and an outdoor shower, which is convenient for a larger group. The kitchen is well-stocked and has both a large dining table and an island/breakfast bar for eating. The location is on a quiet woodsy street just a few minutes bike ride from the bike path and a 10-15 minute bike ride from 2 wonderful National Seashore ocean beaches. We used our car to get to the beach only when we wanted to take the dog along. The fenced-in backyard was fantastic for our dog to relax and play in. The house has been updated to make it comfortable and convenient, but it is not a fancy house in its essence. That was fine with us, but this means that the ground-floor bedrooms and both bathrooms are on the smaller side. The laundry is in the basement down a fairly steep flight of stairs, and the basement is musty as is often the case in older houses. All in all, we truly enjoyed our time in this Eastham house and can easily imagine returning.

Mixed emotion

We loved the proximity to major beaches like Coast Guard and Marconi, but the house itself needs updating, cleaning, and massive clean out. There is junk nitnats everywhere, like a garage sale in the house. There is no queen bed, just two full size (one of which had an old bumpy mattress). Lots of external bugs to contend with due to location in a wooded area, and has some ants in the house to deal with. Could not leave any windows or doors open which was okay as the air conditioning works great! Kitchen is a nice size though chaotic with all the glassware! It was a rough two weeks for us but Eastham is a nice location with easy access to Chatham to PTown. Also worthy to note, called Vacasa 3X for a sheet of twin sheets they overlooked and they ignored the request until the 4th call days later to someone who actually did something.

Cape cod 2 week vacation

The house was nice and fit our needs. The yard was great for kids and pets. Had a small problem with the downstairs bathroom but they were trying to resolve it while we were there. We would stay at this rental again. Neighborhood was very quite and was great for taking walks

Great location

This cottage was perfect for our two family stay. The separate suite downstairs allowed us to all have our space and a place to hang out together. The main bedroom on the first floor doesn’t have an AC, which was tricky on hot summer nights. All the other rooms have AC. Would’ve been helpful to have a sponge and extra garbage bags handy. Otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
