Fairfield Eastwind Chair Lift Hotels

"Honest opinion. The lobby and property grounds were very nice. However the rooms were very dated and the tv was small. The beds were fairly comfortable for me but my husband thought it was a bit lumpy and could feel springs. The beds could use a thicker blanket or spare in the closet. Everything was very clean in the room though. Shower and water pressure were great. The pool was cold for an indoor pool and the hot tub felt great but needs to be resurfaced. The diner was nice for breakfast. We traveled with our grandkids for a little weekend getaway. They enjoyed it and that’s all that really mattered but they would have been in the pool longer if it was slightly warmer. All in all, a bit overpriced and ok but needs improvements."

"We didnt eat or drink at the bar restaurant there, but the cabin and the property was nice, peaceful and relaxing. Staff were all very nice and professional. Highly recommend!"

"The hotel was very clean, housekeeping did an excellent job every day (always had fresh towels, counters clean, garbage emptied), breakfast was wonderful (eggs, sausage, waffles, bread, bagels, english muffins). Breakfast room staff was extraordinarily friendly. The hotel was in close proximity to the Gettysburg Battlefield and Visitor Center, along with other sites/museums and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again."

"Horrible! Don’t spend your money! Bathtub was flooding and black dirty tub with other people hair. Old Shower head was spreading out to the floor .. toilet was dirty. Bed was comfy. Our slide door to our bedroom was broken. Old building. Can hear dogs barking in rooms. Pool I did not see anyone clean the pool. We did not use it. Thank god! Overall stay 1 star. Breakfast was okay! Never coming back. Thanks. Good near the area overpriced and gross. Pizza and salads was awful. Thank me later. No refund or discounts."

"The room was very nice, as well as the amenities in the room. We thought the breakfast menu was rather lacking in that the only hot food available was make your own waffles. Most other hotels we stay at offer items such as scrambled eggs, sausage/bacon, biscuits, muffins, etc."
