“My family and I stayed here and we thoroughly liked it. Excellent location right off the Grieg street walking bridge. Lots of shopping and restaurant options. The interior of the unit was very clean and safe and easy to get too. We appreciated the in unit washer/dryer to catch up on our laundry while on our trip. The check in process with the owners was simple and straight forward. Highly recommend. ”

The breakfast was great and we had great communication with the owner who gave us advice on the route to drive to Aberdeen and to visit the Balmoral Castle. “The rooms were fantastic! Clean, comfy and modern. The beds were extremely comfortable and warm. We loved our in room tea/biscuit upon arrival. The staff was welcoming and knowledgeable. We definitely would stay here again.
The one night we had supper in the restaurant was not great. Our soup was heavily salted and bread was cold and bit stale. But to be fair, we came in late and tired. Possibly if we had arrive earlier may have had a better experience.

“The Bank House was tucked away in a neighborhood. Not your typical hotel accommodation. Kind of a cross between a hotel and AirBnB. Private parking available.
Upon arrival, had to ring the bell for someone to greet you and let you in. This and checkout were really the only times we had contact with staff.
Room was quite large and very clean. Bed was very comfortable. One of the most during our 12 day stay in Scotland.
Bathroom with plenty of room. However, the toilet required a below……

“Nothing wrong with it except that I was suppose to be booking a Best Western Hotel, but while it is indeed a Best Western, they put me in a another small house next to the main Best Western building. There are 4 rooms in the small house and is 30 seconds walk away. It does not feel like I am living in a Best Western hotel.”
