“The beach was the best view.”

“We had a fantastic stay at the Beach House. The manager was super helpful and welcoming. The bed was comfortable (although the pillows were not great). The weather was warm but not hot during our stay, and the room was comfortable. We loved being able to open the door and allow the breeze into the room. The location was fantastic & we loved the firepits along the shoreline. We stayed in a comfortably sized room with a very, very small bathroom. We didn't spend much time in the room, as we were……

“If I could give this place negative star rating I would. When I booked this hotel online I rather reviews than 20 minutes later. I attempted to cancel my reservation only to be offered a 50% refund per the hotel policy. I decided to try this hotel the first room that they put me in did not have a fitted sheet on the mattress. It just had a flat sheet folded over the top half. They went to bring me a fitted sheet and we noticed there was ants everywhere all over the floor. They moved us to a room……

“The property looks very clean on the outside in pictures but the exterior walls have not been cleaned in a very long time. The lobby to check in was very clean. The room was very clean as well. Very well stocked with towels, washcloths, and hand towels. It was very aggravating to get the luggage to the room with the cart as you have to go to the other end of the building for the elevator and go through 2 hallways and doors and maneuver thru very narrow hallways. “We checked in to the honeymoon suite and we did not have hot water in the room for 2 hrs and pool and hot tub were just filled the day we arrived and it was middle of June so couldn't use other one for the 2 days we stayed and manager said he would make it right not never did”

“I didn't know what to expect coming into Sunrise Beach Motel since I had read both very positive reviews as well as some pretty scathing ones. But my experience was excellent. We were given a nicely rehabbed 2nd story room overlooking Lake Huron with beautiful views of the bridge and surrounding islands. Our room had the pinewood paneling on the walls and new LVP flooring. The beds made a spring sound when you moved around, but nothing too bad. Everything was clean. The handle on our sliding……
