Good stay.

Nice apartment, well explained prior to stay how to find/enter etc. The apartment was spacious, clean and had a great kitchen. Local area felt a little dodgy when arriving late at night but was only a short walk to Leith waterfront which was nice. The Tesco express downstairs from the apartment was very handy.

Don’t let the entranceway & corridor put you off!

This was such a great to stay for our few days in Leith. Light, bright, oh so spacious and even came with a washing machine! Yes the condition of the entranceway and corridor did leave much to be desired but once inside the apartment we could see why it received such good reviews. The owner emailed us regularly to see how we were getting on and provided so much interesting information about the area. It was great! Thank you for a lovely stay!

Great location, lovely spacious apartment. Sofa bed was really comfy so we were very happy about that as we gave our old parents the main bedroom! easy check in with key boxes and lots of information sent to us before and while we were there. Will hopefully be back again soon. Thanks

Fresh, bright, spacious and comfortable. A wee bit of confusion (on our part) sorting the keys to get in, but the host was very patient and helpful on the phone. One small detail - the carving knives could all do with a good sharpen! Otherwise, we were very happy indeed.

Good aspects to it - but not what we expected

First the good points. The apartment was reasonably spacious and had lots of amenities. The general location was good. The owner was very anxious to please - to the point where when we complained about the state of the pots and pans he bought and delivered new ones - can’t complain about that. Also, the apartment includes off street parking - which is very hard to find in Edinburgh On the negative side, the building the apartment is in is old, delapidated and somewhat confronting for a couple of older travellers.

Amazing stay in an amazing city!

Stayed here to attend the Edinburgh tattoo plus Runrigs last ever concert in Stirling. Even though it was 2miles from city centre, we prefer staying in quieter areas and it was easy and cheap enough with buses/taxi for sightseeing (half hour walk but I'm lazy). Apartment was large and comfortable, great kitchen area and comfy living room and bedroom.
