There are 2 Hotel Indigos a city block or two apart. Very easy to get the wrong directions from google. Once we found it it was quite pleasant though!

Everything about this hotel and the staff who work there was wonderful. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this hotel. The breakfast is also amazing. Great location as well.

There are two IHG hotels in Edinburgh—don’t mistake the two. This one: Pro: good link to airport tram, convenient for local restaurants and shopping facilities Con: somewhat on quirky side (lift known as stage door—why???), rooms on small side size wise Perfectly reasonable place to stay

This will always be my "go to" place in Edinburgh. The location was excellent with the airport tram stopping just down the block.. We didn't need a car! The staff was beyond friendly and accommodating. The room was spacious and cleaned daily. I enjoyed the free snacks and drinks that were replenished daily as well. The breakfast that was included was exceptional as we were able to order from the menu as well as eat items on the buffet. The price to stay was truly worth every pence. The location was perfect for walking to just about everywhere we wanted to go and we used the tram as well as the "hop on, hop off" bus that also stopped just past the front door of the hotel.

A city hotel so no parking, but discounted rate at a nearby public car park, just a pain with lots of luggage. Air conditioning not working effectively (and it was stifling hot), they supplied a fan but did not really address the problem. Staff pleasant and helpful, hotel clean and convenient.

Reception, bar and dining-room were modern and well kept. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. However, standard of the rooms needs improvement. Flaked paint, sellotape used to fix ripped wallpaper, cracked sink, loose toilet seat. Would expect higher standards for the price.

Hotel is in a great position for the Playhouse & for shopping, its very clean & the staff are lovely my only gripe was breakfast - full Edinburgh wasn't great, pancakes bacon & syrup again pretty rubbish!!

This was a cute property. Kind of chopped up and not necessarily easy to access. Definitely a boutique hotel. Small rooms, but clean and comfortable.

Our flight was late and the room the hotel kept for us was in the basement floor after not slipping the whole night since the trim went back-and-forth, we w woke up to a delivery that open closed a back door at 6:30 AM. The hotel moved us to another room on the fourth floor. And guess what, we had scaffolding at our window and during the day people working on the roof. Transparency when ordering and the process was the biggest disappointment we had!!! The location is great, and the breakfast was good but when you start your vacation on this note, just make it hard to enjoy!
