“For a group of 12 the house was just okay. Although it was very clean, we did have issues with the codes at check in but host was quick to respond with new codes and offered early check in but no response as to a late check out. We had issues with the grill not lighting and we didn’t realize there was no AC. The alarm on the front tree was extremely loud and disturbing we had to turn it off. We felt there were not enough towels for 12 girls and no beach towels. We thought the beds were very……

“We were a family of 10 coming into town to celebrate our wedding and a milestone birthday, and our experience at Alpenglow Aerie was by far the most epic of our lives! Not only is the property beautiful, in fact, I would say the photos of the house and views of Lake Tahoe don’t even do it justice, but the house was the most well-equipped/stocked property we have ever rented. The house was full of every single thoughtful detail you could possibly imagine to make our stay, luxurious, comfortable,……

“The host was very communicative and straightforward. They were also very understanding of the circumstances of our stay. We very much enjoyed our time at the house and would happily return. The location is fantastic for access to South Lake Tahoe and also to activities up beyond Echo Summit off 50 westbound.”

“An absolutely gorgeous property with rustic vibes. Tons of living space and gorgeous bedrooms. I never saw so many amenities included - it’s as if you are living in your own home. The view of the lake was breathtaking as we sat eating at the dining room table. Magnificent!”

“It was very easy to check in a check out. The location was great, close to the lake and Heavenly shopping center. The house could be cleaner and provide more like hand soap in the kitchen and downstairs bathroom. The bathrooms were nice and spacious, the beds were okay and there were lots of towels. It would have been better had it been cleaner.”

“Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. “There were plenty of beds, which we appreciated for all of our kids! They loved the arcade games and big bean bag bed. We’re from Florida and it was very warm during the day, even for us (July). There was a portable AC but it did not blow cold air, just a fan. We appreciated having a fan in every room though. We made use of the washer and dryer, but could not figure out how to turn on the induction stove. Shampoo, conditioner, and soap were provided, which were enough to last us for 3 days. The……

“My friends and I had a great time here! It’s easily one of the nicest short term rentals we’ve stayed in, and at a great price too. All of the furniture and appliances seemed new, and the heated bathroom floors were a nice bonus. I would definitely come back to this property again for a future stay.”
