“Everything was clearly communicated and the property is amazing! Check-in process was smooth, all directions were clear and easy to follow. The place is very clean and well stocked. We will be back!”

“The place was ideally located and easy to find at the popular west end of Donner Lake. Up a short flight of stairs, past a string of fairy lights and antisocial chipmunks, this two-bedroom, one bath hideaway was a nice place to land after a long drive. The Scandinavian raw-wood design is nearly as beautiful as the views, and the privacy, despite having homes on either side, is appreciated. We were welcomed with a bottle of locally bottled sparkling water and salt-water taffy — a small gesture……

“Very clean, beautifully decorated, and amazing back yard.”

“Home was perfect in every way for our family of 10. The kids really enjoyed the game room and the great room was large enough for the whole family to watch tv and play games. The layout of the bedrooms and kitchen worked great for us. The area out back was perfect for sitting out at night and the location is a very short walk to The Village at Northstar for food, drinks, and skating. Overall, we would not change a thing about this home and would definitely stay again.”

“We had a great time. The cabin is cozy, has a great location and good amenities.”

“We had a great time.”

“Fabulous view right on the water.Host was responsive.Quaint little cottage. It should be made clear that the sofa bed does not pull out and there is only one bed. More beach towels would be nice and maybe some updated beach chairs. Hairdryer was barely working; a standard size hairdryer should be the bare minimum. The shower was not draining correctly. The cottage could use a deep clean to get rid of cobwebs.Otherwise fabulous stay.”

“Nice place.”

“The host communication was great and the home was in great shape. ”

“Big and spaciuos house! Great for big families...bedding was a bit dirty! Overall the property and location was great!”

“Great place with easy access to the lake and great day hikes. Relaxed and Recharged.”

“Very clean. Furniture is dated with a vintage appeal. Close enough to walk to a beach or into town.”

“Great stay with our family! Super close to the beach and other shops. Will stay here again.”

“Minor issues with check in and heat ”

“This cabin was lovely, and larger and nicer than I expected. Does not look like some pets-OK places :-) Dmitriy was great! Kind of a unique experience in that PG&E (Northern California's power company) instated a power shut-off in the whole region (for fire safety) just hours after I arrived! I elected to stay anyway for 2 days, although the host was more than willing to allow me to cancel my reservation. Still had a great time there with my dog! The place has a well appointed kitchen, many……
