「The location, the location, the location of the this condo is great, about 5-10 min walk in the icy up hill to condo run (2 min showed in the map, but many steps). The place could be an option for a true ski lover. Keep in mind, it had bare minimum for the stay (no salt n pepper, pans and pots are somehow dirty), so be prepared to pack everything you need if you plan to cook for dinner. We had a great time in Northstar, however we were having issues during the stay. The water heater didn't heat...

February 1st, and snow is sparse in Tahoe. We parked at the Brockway Summit Parking, but crossed the road and headed up the mountain on Spur Trail. It was warm and quiet. About a 2 mile hike up to the vista point, and the view was not disappointing! Gorgeous lake and the company of good friends.
