Chancellor Hotel on Union Square

"The hotel is in an excellent location just a few steps from Union Square, the cable car stop, and the BART train station, not to mention all the clothing stores and food options around it. The room was clean and very comfortable with a refrigerator inside, and I really liked the free cookies, apples, and water in the lobby. However, the service from the lobby staff could be improved, as they misplaced my small suitcase and only found it after checking three times. Management should improve staff training so they follow protocols and do not affect customers. I would stay at the hotel again, but I would be careful with the lobby staff."
Twin Peaks Hotel

"Tiny little room and thin walls, but tolerably clean and private; good bedding and fresh towels. Wi-fi okay. One shower was broken while I was there, but there were others. No aircon or heater, and window barely opens; the room provided a combination fan and space heater. Recommend you bring a safe extension cord for any chargers; my only outlet was over the in-room sink. Conveniently close to a Safeway, transit connections, and many places to eat. Not bad for my budget; would consider using again."

"Tired basic hotel. Clean and fairly good value for money. Air con worked but rattled a bit. We had no cleaning service on Sunday just a bit under the door saying due to high occupancy we are unable to service your room. I had to phone and go down for more coffee pods. Choice maker and small fridge in rooms which was nice. Very good location with bus rides and train station all 2 minute walk. Large supermarket within 7-10 min walk."

"Very nice hotel! Right in Union Square. Beds were very hard and pillows kind of sucked. But overall the rooms were nice and very clean. We were on the 29th floor which was a cool view Parking is horrible and because we have a bigger truck they couldn’t valet it and had no idea how to help us and just kind of left us to figure it out, Thankfully we found ONE garage down the street that took bigger vehicles (thanks ChatGPT for finding it)."
