"When checking in, the first person i spoke with was brusque, and told me that the person who would check me in was at the other end of the bar, and not the person who I was talking to, who happened to be the owner/ manager of 11years. Just generally unfriendly, which I didn't need after a long car journey. "

"The place wasn’t bad, but there’s a mistake in the description of the house — it’s actually a B&B. The owner sleeps in the living room, and it should be clearly stated that he stays in the same house. The house is small, and if you book it for a family of six, it feels cramped. Honestly, I felt uncomfortable knowing the owner was sleeping in the living room. I thought I had booked the entire house, but that wasn’t the case."

"It was just ok.
Location was excellent for us which is a big plus but let down by poor communications (no response to phone calls or emails at all). Check in instructions were sent, but after check in time. I wanted to confirm the arrangements upfront as it was getting to the stage where I thought I would need to arrange alternative accommodation.
In addition, the flat itself was frankly, filthy. Dirty toilet, shower, all work surfaces covered in dust. It is a really small place so would...

"It's conveniently located with plenty of affordable dining options and markets nearby. It's a nice 30-minute stroll to the city center or to the Thames River. The 2 bedroom place itself was nicely remodeled. The city could do a better job maintaining the sidewalks."
