Great place

We ended up in a bigger and nicer cabin because we added an extra person. It was on the river, the cabin was beautiful! The last day it rained so hard the river flooded to the steps on the deck. Great time to leave!

Fabulous stay at Cedar Shoals

We had a wonderful time at Cedar Shoals. We enjoyed the porch and the river view and especially the deer. The house is beautiful and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again

Coosawatee Gem Cabin

The cabin stay was outstanding. Many deer, good access to river from property, and very pretty. Beds very comfy and main level shower was cool. Definitely recommend. Thank you.

Serene and Comfortable

My husband and I took a quick trip for my birthday and this cabin was perfect! It was exactly as described and such a beautiful location! There were deer everywhere and it was close enough to restaurants and the grocery store! We would definitely stay again!

River Cabin

Great place with lots of wildlife. The drive in was scary as the roads are very curvy however they were all paved. House was beautiful and we enjoyed grilling and the hot tub and fire pit Would definitely recommend

Perfect getaway!

Celebrated our 25th Anniversary at this cabin! Enjoyed sitting by the firepit at the river, so peaceful. A little drive to the location from gated entrance but well worth it. Will definitely come back again and bring our family.

Very nice stay

Very clean and well kept property. We enjoyed time on the porch overlooking the Coosawattee River. There were deer everywhere. We saw hundreds of deer over the 4 days we were there. A few even ate apples from our hands.

Beautiful Cabin on the River

We enjoyed our stay in Ellijay! The cabin was perfect, was well maintained and had everything we needed. The driving directions were easy to follow. We visited the downtown shops and enjoyed Engelheim Vineyards. The highlight was feeding the many deers. They showed up every morning and afternoon! We hope to come back!

Beautiful cabin on the river

My family and I enjoyed a wonderfully relaxing stay at this beautiful cabin. It was even better in person than in photos. We were really pleased and would easily stay here again. Quick bit of advice. We bought tubes and floated down the river from the cabin to the metal bridge. It was great, some nice gentle rapids and only took about an hour and a half. It was great. Thank you!

Great Location!!

We were looking for a quiet scenic location and this absolutely fit our needs. Our priorities were having a nice view and lots of quiet. There are neighbors on either side but we only saw a polite dog and had zero noise issues. This location isnt a good fit for anyone who wants easy access to restaurant and things to do and likes to be able to go back to the house a lot throughout the day. But we tended to stay out all day and then cook dinner at home so it worked great for us. The fact its in a gated community wasnt a major hassle for us, though the drive to theh ouse has a few spots you need to be very careful! We never attempted it in the dark. Other pros are cleaniliness was superb, hot tub was perfect and ready to go, the master bath has a glorious clawfoot tub, and we absolutely loved the porch and seating down by the creek and overall had zero issues. The only con was very, very minor, the kitchen is stocked with the basic cookware and utensils but not a lot of cooking basics like basic spices, pam, sugar, or some things like any ziploc bags plastic wrap, foil, tupperware for packing lunches. Which isnt a problem but we have been very spoiled in other places so its good to know going in. Basics like towels, soaps, shampoos were all provided.

Couple's Getaway

Exactly as described and perfect for a quick stay. What I loved: - super clean - comfortable beds - roomy, yet cozy and romantic - great back porch/deck/hot tub Important to know before you go: - For those that get sick on curvy roads - take your dramamine! - easy to miss if trying to find at night - LOOK FOR THE BLUE NUMBERS - directions from mgmt company actually missed a turn for us but google maps worked perfectly. This is the opposite of what we were told to expect. Not a big deal it all worked out.

Weekend getaway

I had to follow up with property management due to an email going to my junk folder. If I had not followed up I do not believe they would have reached out to me. Unlike noted WAZE/GPS does work. The property was great and very clean. I absolutely loved the gas fire place. The cabin was supplied with plenty of linens. The only complaint is the limited seating in the living room. It was fine for the two of us but it would have been very cramped/uncomfortable for more.

Christmas getaway

When we arrived the house was just like the description said. Inside they had done some decorating for Christmas which was wonderful! They had a dog bed, towel and toy set up for our doggies, which was very sweet.Overall it was a beautiful cabin with stunning views!!

Great place to relax!

The place was really nice, clean, and I was pleasantly surprised how accurately the photos represented the property. The supplies available were a little limited (TP, dishwasher detergent, etc) and we did have to go buy more to get through our stay. Extra blankets would have also been good. It got a little chilly at night. I know you don’t want a lot of extra stuff collecting or being left behind, and I did know ahead of time to bring my own, but having a few basic spices and such available would have been really nice for people planning to cook.

Perfect family time!

Awesome place to relax, feed the deer, make Smores, hang out in the hot tub, rock on the porch, listen to the river, visit the sights and eateries, & make wonderful family memories! Perfect cabin for 4 adults & 2 children. The boys loved their own loft! Highly recommend!
