  • Your home away from home in Elm Mott with 4 bedrooms. This welcoming house features 3 queen beds and 1 twin bed, perfect for families or groups of friends. Enjoy the phenomenal living room with an additional queen bed (Sofa) for extra comfort. With amenities like WiFi, AC, and a washing machine, guests can relax and unwind in this enchanting retreat. Make your holiday one for the books with a stay at our place! Just a few miles from Waco, with easy access to 35. Just 7 mins. to Baylor Stadium! Silos and downtown Waco are close too. Elm Mott is a small town, just outside of Waco, with a country store, dollar store, and 5 mins to lots of eateries off 35 in Bellmead area. Very close to the famous Cable Park, for all kinds of water activities! Comfortable Beds, cold AC, new windows, huge backyard with covered patio! Feels like you're in the country, but city is not far away!

We loved the proximity to our wedding venue. Beds were as described. We also loved the backyard- it was perfect for the dogs. Plenty of towels, glasses, and other needs Place is a bit dated but works for large family wanting to visit Waco!

Family time

This property was a perfect location to gather with my parents and siblings. Very close to our extended family, making a Thanksgiving get together possible. We really enjoyed our stay.

I truly hate to write a poor review but…I’ll start with the positives: 1) Easy to travel to Baylor from house; 2) Remodeled with cozy decor; 3) A/C worked great.Drawbacks: 1) no washcloths; 2) two of the bedrooms had no closet; 3) no curtains in bedroom with twin bed and lights on warehouse across the street poured into room; 4) house may have been cleaned after last rental but it had not been cleaned in months - we had spider webs, spiders, cockroaches, dusty dirty blinds (I had to clean bathroom counter and floors); 4) home was so close to I-35 and railroad tracks that sleeping was difficult with trains and heavy traffic.For the amount we paid due to graduation weekend (including being charged additional amount due to owner claiming that they had not “updated their fees”), we were completely disappointed.

Baylor Graduation

The house was cute and well-loved.Run down houses around, but the house was maintained. The floor is collapsing in several rooms.We blew a fuse a few times just by using bathroom appliances.Owner was responsive when we called directly.

Our trip began by being locked out of the property. VRBO app access code for the key was incorrect.To contact the host only a land line was provided…she was not home. After check out we received messages about everything from how many towels we used to a rickety piece of furniture that fell apart. Then a fraudulent charge on our credit card. 0/10, would not recommend. Not to mention the house sounds like it must be mere feet from the train tracks with blaring horns. Super nice to wake up to at 4am
