"Our stay exceeded our expectations. Staff were super friendly, obliging and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble. Travelled to Cambridge for a medical proceedure and stayed at the Cambridge Belfry for 3 nights for recuperation. Couldn't have been anywhere better. Will return"

"Beautiful hotel, clean and quiet considering it’s next to a train station. Food was superb, dinner was delicious despite the price and plenty of choice for breakfast. The only criticism I have would be the staff who were very polite and professional when spoken to however could have been more attentive. Had to ask for the bill 3 times after dinner and on check in at reception no information was given about hotel facilities, check out time, breakfast times etc. Great location can get train into Cambridge or drive from the hotel however parking is expensive in Cambridge and at the hotel (depending on your duration) so would have been nice to have free parking given the price paid for the room. Overall though very pleasant and comfortable stay. "

"We stayed as a couple and we had been out for dinner but on our return my wife just wanted something sweet so asked for the dessert menu. The manager said that although kitchen finished he could make one. My wife declined saying that she just wanted something small and sweet but that it was ok. After this, the barmaid (did not get name) said she had some chocolate in her locker which she would share! Absolutely amazing!! My wife said it was ok but thank you and then five minutes later the manager then brought over a bar of chocolate which she could have. Quite small things in isolation but you could tell that we were engaging with very nice people that just wanted to help and deliver great service. Thank you."

"I stayed one night and used the spa the next day. The hotel is nice but it’s the staff that made the entire experience one that I will definitely repeat. The food was really good, had the filet with sides. I can’t stress enough how incredible the staff are. "
