"We stayed in the three bedroom unit on the main floor of this beautifully renovated house. The kitchen is equipped with all the basics ( we made lasagne) including several options for making coffee. The backyard and adjacent bike/walk trail were perfect for dog walking, and we strolled to Sow’s Ear and Icki Sticki for yummy treats. The new king bed was very comfortable, and there are two desks with good chairs if you need to work during your stay. The washer and dryer were handy, and are shared...

"My wife and I rented the space for the long weekemd of our wedding. We had a wonderful stay and had little to complain about. The kitchen and living room was very useful as a homebase for wedding planning, the rooms where cozy, and with no other apartment in any direction the privacy is wonderful. When we had friends and family stop by they had nothing but praise for the look and feel of the space. I can only think of two minor complaints from our stay. It's only half a mile from the state capitol, and you can see if from the porch - a beautiful view, especially at night. Chris took care of all our needs, and we were comfortable and had all we needed. Highly recommended if you like to be right in the middle of all the action - the lake, great bars, downtown square, grocery store, and just a quick bike ride to the university campus. "We enjoyed our stay, but a few things were missing/wrong. We tried to use the VRBO app to give us directions to the apt. Thing is it took us to a rural farm house. Knowing that couldn't be correct we entered the address into Goggle maps and at least got close. The kitchen garbage can was very, very tiny. Had to bag up our garbage in plastic bags our food from the grocery store came in. There was no dish soap or dish cloth and only 1 towel in the kitchen. The bedroom window has a security light...
