It's simple.
Overall, we hardly spent any time here, so it was perfect for just a place to shower and rest your head. 1. Finding the place was slightly challenging. we had to ask the neighbors for directions. I feel it would help tremendously if there was a clear sign on the cabin facing the roadway. 2. Super simple getting into the house no problems. 3. It clearly needs a little extra minor maintenace, but like I said before perfect for resting purposes. 4. The hot water doesn't last long. 5. Alot of extra linen thrown in the closet. One of the wash clothes I grabbed out clearly looked dirty & the rest was hard to tell whether it was clean or dirty. 6. Very small space & bathroom is definitely not fit for a tall person. "I'm 5'8 and hit the ceiling with my hands showering.

Place was much smaller than listed. Screen porch is not part of the back end of the unit we rented. Listing said it was. Very disaapointed. It was the back half of the unit, not the entire building as pictured. Not at allnwhat we were looking for. And price after fees was more than a local hotel room with much larger living space. No water access either. The docks were walking distance away. Light bulbs were out in fam and over the only sink in the unit. Water heater was under the bunk beds. Melted a plastic bag laying under the bunk, not ideal for sleeping or storage. Would not rent again.

Great little space!
My father-in-law and I came down for a long weekend to fish and needed a place to lay our heads at night. Place was very clean, and just as the description says. Had a boat ramp within 50 yards and a small dock for our boat. The owner was extremely easy to work with. The fishing was good, and the weather was great. What a great trip and I will be back soon!

This was an adorable little cabin! Perfect size for what we needed after a day of exploring The shower head is rather short so fyi if you're tall (I'm 5'7 and had to squat down to wash my hair!) :)

Review
Overall, room was nice but smaller then we expected. Only problem was the shower door getting stuck. Was difficult to figure out the tv, but we're older and less well versed in these things. Conveniently located next to a restaurant, a small convenience store, and the everglades park visitor center. Enjoyed a pontoon boat ride offered at the center.

Great Location
VERY SMALL. This place is perfect if you travel light and do not plan to spend much time in the cabin. Most available storage space other than a couple of drawers is used for cabin supplies so can not really unpack. Beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows. The Internet and TV worked great with a cabin Netflix account. Mini Refrigerator kept everything ice cold. Coffee pot will make two cups at a time. Nice store, bar and restaurant right next door. Beds were hard. Lighting was dim. No working light over the bathroom/kitchen light. No full length mirror. I saw pics online prior to stay, so I knew what we were getting.. just not the above mentioned details. Everglades City is SMALL so not a lot to do between airboat rides. Ate at a couple good restaraunts tho.

Si vous êtes un couple cherchant un endroit près des Everglades mais non pour la pêche, évitez de louer l’unité 4B. Non approprié du tout pour le prix demandé: lavabo hors de la salle de bain servant aussi d’évier. On se brosse donc les dents ou on lave sa vaisselle. Parlant de vaisselle: ustensiles de base incomplets, assiettes absentes à part une grande qui traîne au milieu de bols en styrofoam. Bonne chance aussi pour trouver des lingés à vaisselle, à croire que les locataires ne mangent pas du tout ou ils couchent. Pas de réelle terrasse extérieure : chaises et tables en pvc qui ont passé leur date de péremption et surtout pas d’abri pour se protéger des maringouins. Au Canada, on appellerait camp de fortune ce genre d’habitation ou qqn y va simplement pour pêcher mais sans rechercher un quelconque confort. Le prix par contre est conséquent. C’est pas cher. Seul point positif : lit confortable. La personne contact n’a pas été rapide à répondre à mes courriels et n’a pas finalement pas pu répondre à mes requêtes et besoins. Je suis passée par leur ligne 1-800 ou une gentille personne m’la négocie un remboursement pour la 2e nuit (pas un remboursement total car VRBO se prend une côte) et l’accès à l’unité 4a pour me fournir les ustensiles manquants. L’unité 4a était déjà mieux avec une galerie à moustiquaire. Les conditions de rangement et d'équipement me semblaient meilleures. J’ai appris ma leçon : ne jamais faire affaire avec un intermédiaire pour une location. Je ne permets aussi de conseiller à VRBO une certaine diligence dans leur lien avec de tels intermédiaires.

Awesome property!
Main focus of the trip was to fish, mission accomplished. This property is perfect, they have a launch right outside the property, also a place to dock the boat if you choose. I have a 18’ skiff and had no issues parking it in the front with my truck, it’s the perfect property to sleep, shower and hang out. It’s basically a studio with some beds but perfect for what I was doing out there. About 5 minutes from Chokoloskee, and close to food places and some of the local shops. Would definitely book it again in a heartbeat. Property manager was very helpful and nice when I had any questions.

Perfect quiet location
Property is as stated. It is small but perfect. We used the property to sleep and shower, we were exploring the rest of the time. Close to the best restaurants. Island cafe had great southern food and service. Triad for lunch and or dinner. Property was quiet and clean. Shower quick and wait 15 minutes in between showers. It is a small property and small water heater, but heats up quick. This will be our place to stay when we return to the Everglades.

not good
bed horrible. not room for both sets of vehicles.. no power at dock and only 1 dock spot to 2 cabins. no plugs on outside to charge boat batteries. no extra toilet paper. 2 towels for 3 nights . took 3 hours to cool the place down .. if you know someone is coming at least turn the air on..messaged to say we need a dock spot (no answer).things wrote in marker to label stuff . need to take new pictures of room and surrounding. they say extra shower and bathrooms by the pool ...NO everything Tore apart.stay at Everglades motel way better , it's been redone.

We have relayed your feedback to the homeowner, and we'd like to share the following: -There are extra rolls of toilet paper and towels stocked in the cabinet for guest use. -The owner did reply to the email and answered your question about the dock. -The one dock spot is for both cabins 4A and 4B, so it is on a first-come, first-serve basis. As evidenced by other reviews, we are confident that many future guests will enjoy their stay at this lovely property!

Convenient location close to activities in the Everglades National Park and Big Cypress. No frills lodging but, better than a staying in a hotel. Double bed wasn't very comfortable.

DON'T DO IT!
COZY CABINS WAS A NICE FISH CAMP IN 2015. NOT NOW.THE HURRICANE DESTROYED THE MARINA, THE STORE AND RESTURANT ARE CLOSED. CABIN 4B IS TINY (10 X 20) WITH NO OUTSIDE VIEWS, THERE IS NOWHERE TO COOK. WE MADE THREE PHONE CALLS AND LEFT AFTER 20 MINUTES FOR HOME. NO REFUNDS. DON,T BOOK WITH A THIRD PARTY! . DON'T RENT FROM A THIRD PARTY EVER. AN EXPENSIVE LESSON.

Great stay!
The room itself is small but perfect for what is needed. It was clean throughout. No issues parking. It was cute and comfy! And the price was perfect. The only thing I can say is if you’re putting children in the bunk beds make sure that whoever is in the top bunk won’t fall out! It’s really high and for an adult it’s not the easiest to get into and out of With all that said though it’s a great stay and I would go back.

Great little place
Plenty of room for a married couple and 1 child. Simple and comfortable. The boatramp is 75yards away across the parking lot. Neighbors were friendly and very hospitable. We would definitely stay in this location again. WiFi was nice since there’s limited service on the island. There is plenty of trailer parking and very boat friendly parking lot with room to turn around and maneuver.

Small but useful
Low cost rental for a fishing trip and planed not to be in the room much. The one room was filled with two bunk beds and one single bed. The single was old and to soft and needs replacement. the bunk beds had no headroom and should only be used by kids. No good place sit for more than hour if you wanted watch TV ( that had 3 or 4 controls). The bath room was ship size small and poor design ( showerhead very low and no sink). Works if you spent little time in room ( but you do need sleep).
