「Lovely warm welcome. Room warm and cosy (211) with a slightly challenging lock. Very tasty roast dinner and breakfast the next morning. The little town was quiet but lots of pubs and little shops, plus riverside walks too. Would recommend.」

「Bar well stocked room very basic and very tired room the room needs a good clean and updating although bed was very clean and comfortable extras required in bathroom such as a shelf and a floor mat 」

「Room 3 Curtains not blinds that flap about even when windows closed. Bright lights outside makes it then flashing the room. Poor outdated bathroom with bad bath shower. Water not hot. Noise from interlocking bathroom next door. No sound proofing. Girl in reception was very good, welcoming and helpful. 」

「Very easy to check in and out, everything looked just like the pictures, cafe next door and a bar/restaurant a few doors down. There was only 2 chairs around the breakfast bar but 4 place mats so I’m not sure how a family of 4 like us where meant to eat together There was also no lamp in the downstairs bedroom which isn’t a massive deal but it would have been nice to have some form of light in the evening/night without having the big light on The tv was oddly placed in the living...

「We had a ground floor room which was close to kitchen and breakfast room which was noisy for the golfers who had requested earlier breakfast times. Staff convivial and friendly. Breakfast good and plenty of it - Lincolnshire sausage excellent. Beware carparking access a little tricky to negotiate. Easy access to local shops and golf course! 」

「It was a nice and very easy trip. The hotel was lovely. The staff were great. The bar was great. They recommended a nice café around the corner of breakfast. Great time all round.」

「The property was clean and tidy and couldn't be faulted. The problem was with their check in procedure. Phone a number which took nearly 20 minutes to get answered requiring repeated redialling. After getting the key to the room, it turned out the wrong key had been put in the keysafe box.....so... another phone call to their help desk, this time taking 25 minutes to eventually get answered. Once that was finally sorted out, all in all over 45 minutes, i ended up being late for my appointment...
