“Wyndham Sam Lord’s has the potential to be a great hotel. The staff is excellent and the rooms are nice but there are some maintenance issues that you would not expect at a newer 5-star resort, the biggest of which is we NEVER had any hot water our entire stay. The entire hotel was without hot water and we had to take short cold showers. There are also things like fountains not working/being used, broken path lighting, broken doors, etc. that indicates they are struggling to maintain the……

“South Point resort is very nice, but it is far from the calming beaches and activities in Barbados. They don’t offer complementary shuttle service to the beaches or airport thus far each taxi or Uber is 30 US dollars per Way. If this hotel is in a different location, it will be every bit of a five. “I booked this apartment late afternoon, and arrived promptly after booking. The host Greg was fantastic. He was friendly and extremely helpful. I couldn’t have asked for a better host. He made sure I had everything I needed and settled me into the apartment with all the info I needed. WiFi was fast and there was a smart tv too to watch Netflix or Amazon prime. Shower was great. If looking for a king bed that is not to beds pushed together be specific about it. Room had a nice balcony view of the ocean where you can hear the waves crashing against the rocks. “First off it’s a small place but that doesn’t take away anything. Its gorgeous!!!! Staff is beyond helpful. It has an amazing restaurant up top and is close to a lot of things. You will not be disappointed if you book this. We just celebrated our honeymoon there and already planning out next trip back.”

“Hotel needs modern upgrades to rooms. The rooms are very outdated. The bedding needs to be washed and changed before every guest. Everything on the bed should be stripped not just the sheets. A microwave in the room or even bar/lobby area would be awesome accommodation for guest. Food was expensive at the onsite restaurant ($100 US for 1 person) but it is located right on the beach which was nice.”
