「I was there in the summer, and it was a little hot. The AC is good you just have to wait about a half hour to feel it working after you turn it on. Also the main lights are from the kitchen and the bathroom, but there is a floor lamp and two windows that help keep things lit. The bathroom was really nice and the water pressure was good. The bed is super comfy and the tv was the perfect size for watching fifa!」

「Oyo is a good place to stay in the heart of Times Square if you don’t want to spend a fortune. It’s especially good for a single traveler just coming for Broadway shows. The rooms are very tiny (but good for one). The only complaint is the mattress-it feels like a sleeper sofa (a hideaway bed that is thin and noisy.) Otherwise it’s fine if all you need is a place to sleep and shower. I would stay here again.」

「New York City hotels can be very cold and indifferent, well, this place Is not, although everything is to the point, no extra frills, the staff is quite warm and very available to solve any situations very quickly. I’ve stayed in many places and almost none compare to the kind and available people who take care of this place and its visitors. Fully recommend, great central location super close to a nice park, restaurants and shops. Book it!」

「The host was not responsive to emails. The address was wrong. Check in was late and badly executed. Check out was an hour earlier than listed. The furniture was old and uncomfortable. There was no heat or coffee maker. I’ve written the host about these issues and only received one response, saying check in started at 4:05.

We booked this property because it advertised air conditioning, but from the first night the apartment stayed around 80°F even with the AC running continuously.
