“This is a beautiful property with a very interesting history. It is situated in a neighborhood so there was no traffic noise and the rooms were very quiet. But.... 1. We did not get the email from the property to access the room. I called the number on the website and the previous owner responded that he had sold the property. He even checked with us the next day to make sure we were ok. We did find the property manager that evening and got into the room. 2. There was no toilet paper in the……

“The bed & the air conditioner were the best things about the room. It took multiple requests & 4 days of my 7 day stay to get the bathroom light working, forcing me to go bathe at a friend's house. I always travel with a pack of disinfectant wipes, which is good because they were black after I wiped the TV remote, light switches, & doorknobs. And I had to clean mold out of the microwave before I used it. The fridge was clean & worked well. Parking was adequate.”

“The property is beautiful. Our room was lovely—very clean and comfortable. The seating in our room was perfect for reading, and the balcony an extra treat. Allen was so gracious and helpful. The location was great for dinner plans and a short easy drive to Churchill Downs. Breakfast was delicious—especially the biscuits and gravy. And, the young lady that served us breakfast was very nice and helpful. I’d recommend this Bed and Breakfast to anyone who is planning to spend time in……

“Slowest evaluator I have ever waited for in a hotel. Breakfast was ok. Went to Waffle House and paid for a better breakfast. Bathroom was not clean at all.... all kinds of hair left in the bath tub. LOUD ac unit - hard to sleep Out dated hotel - felt like I was at a Motel 6 or Red Roof Inn Parking was a nightmare - don't go anywhere after 5PM or you will not find a parking spot when you come back. Only positive was a comfortable bed.”
