“This is a beautiful property with a very interesting history. It is situated in a neighborhood so there was no traffic noise and the rooms were very quiet. But.... 1. We did not get the email from the property to access the room. I called the number on the website and the previous owner responded that he had sold the property. He even checked with us the next day to make sure we were ok. We did find the property manager that evening and got into the room. 2. There was no toilet paper in the……

“I stayed here recently and had a deeply disappointing experience. Upon entering my room, I immediately noticed roach blood stains on the wall — a clear sign of a pest problem that made the room feel unsanitary and unsafe. I did not report this to the front desk because the condition of the room made me question whether management would take it seriously. The only reason I was moved was because the shower handle in the original room was completely broken. When I reported that, the front desk did……

“The property is beautiful. Our room was lovely—very clean and comfortable. The seating in our room was perfect for reading, and the balcony an extra treat. Allen was so gracious and helpful. The location was great for dinner plans and a short easy drive to Churchill Downs. Breakfast was delicious—especially the biscuits and gravy. And, the young lady that served us breakfast was very nice and helpful. I’d recommend this Bed and Breakfast to anyone who is planning to spend time in……

LOUD ac unit - hard to sleep Out dated hotel - felt like I was at a Motel 6 or Red Roof Inn Parking was a nightmare - don't go anywhere after 5PM or you will not find a parking spot when you come back. Only positive was a comfortable bed.”
