Casa La Paz, home of tranquility and peace.
This charming white house was completely redecorated in 2021.
Everything is new, the bathrooms, the kitchen, the beds, the lounge, the terraces and also the sun beds by the pool.
The house is compact but the location is in the middle of nature and tranquility.
Yet the vibrant life is not far away. Faro at 15 km. Praia do Ancao at 20 km.
The house is suitable for 4 people.

A welcome retreat

We decided very last min to go on holiday this year and felt very blessed to find such a wonderful place to stay . A perfect retreat from life’s hustle and bustle the aptly named casa la Paz was spot on. It’s a short drive from Faro airport and tucked away down a dirt road and a semi rural area - very private with views of the surrounding countryside. The house itself was perfect for us and our kids. We spent a lot of time in the salt water pool and loved the peaceful space with the right mix of shade and sun- loved the hammock !! Also a really well equipped kitchen for self catering and we loved playing boules each night .Also enjoyed some movie nights using chrome cast on the TV. There are lovely surrounding towns and markets to visit and the coast is a short 20-30 min drive- Ihla de Armona was the standout beach for us- ferry from Olhão . We also found some fantastic local restaurants within a 5 min drive. The hosts were a perfect mix of engaged and standoff ! The only niggle was the electrics being very sensitive (owner quick to help resolve ) - maybe a storage battery with the solar would fix this .. Overall a fantastic stay thanks again to Tom and team .

Perfect Holiday

Casa La Paz is a wonderful house. You have everything that you need for a perfect Holiday. It is quiet, you have sun all day, but also plenty of shadow. The furniture is very comfortable and the windows have mosquito Protection. The distance to the beaches, restaurants and sightseehing attractions are short. Thank you Tom, Krista and Célia for a Perfect stay.

Secluded Paradise

We enjoyed our stay very much. The kitchen stove, fridge and utensils are to die for. It was very well equipped. The pool was beautiful and Santa Barbara up the road is a lovely little village with a great coffee shop and restaurant. It was hard to find at first and our GPS didn’t help. We met with Brigitte and followed her car. It was within 30 minutes of many lovely spots for exploring. We miss it!

Traumhafte Natur und Ruhe

Vom ersten Moment haben wir dieses Ferienhaus geliebt und uns super wohlgefühlt.Die Lage ist nicht zu toppen, wenn man die Natur und die Ruhe liebt. Das Haus ist sehr schön renoviert worden und hat alles, was man braucht. Organisation durch Tom. Betreuung durch Célia waren perfekt.Wir kommen wieder!

La Casa La Paz est une très belle maison tout confort, construite avec de beaux matériaux et décorée avec beaucoup de goût. Elle est idéalement située entre océan et campagne dans un bel environnement. Nous avons passé 4 semaines de vacances idéales et le soleil était au rendez-vous. La seule chose qui peut-être devrait être signalée dans l'annonce est que l'eau n'est pas potable? Chantal et Donat n'est pas potable et

Great Getaway!

We had an awesome stay at casa la paz! Tom and Celia were very friendly and kind, thanks again for your flexibility and great communication :)! Everything in the house was clean and well prepared for our arrival. The property is really pretty, the pool perfectly clean! The kitchen equipment is outstanding for a holiday house, there is really everything you need in it. Windows have fly screens nearly everywhere, so you can sleep very well! Only hint for upcoming travellers, the road towards the house is not asphalt but gravel and has a few potholes so maybe take that into consideration when booking a rental car. Overall we totally recommend Casa la paz and hope we can return very soon! Thanks for sharing that beautiful house with others.
