The apartment was in a perfect location. 5 to 10 minutes to the core of the city. On a very quiet street. The owners were so very accommodating. I would definitely recommend this apartment for future travellers. Thank you for a wonderful stay

Exactly as described and in a great location. My room was clean, spacious and nicely decorated. I didn’t make use of the communal areas but they were all really clean and quiet. Saw lots of reviews about external noise, but I didn’t hear any at all (Sunday to Wednesday)

What a beautiful place to stay. Really nice rooms and use of a full kitchen. Couldn’t ask for anything more. I can’t stop saying positive things about the looks, the comfort and the service. My only downside is the lack of soundproofing. Unfortunately we were kept up until our wake up time of 5 AM, just as the last of the party goers were heading away.

Nice property, let down by noise. The place was clean and the location was good. I was pestered by little flies in the bathroom, probably due to damp? However the main issue (similar to another review) the property is located close to a range of nightclubs and bars. Sunday night being tebomly night that they don't open. They generally open at 10pm and close at 4pm. Noise is sually bad around 11pm to about 1.40 and the worst was about 4am to 5am when they all kick out. Room one, located on the bottom right of the building is the worst location as this is onn the corner of the street and people are standing outside your window for hours.

Very nice property. I stayed for two nights. Comfortable bed, nice towels, and well equipped kitchen which also has a water filter so I didn’t have to buy drinking water. Easy walk to both bus and train stations, and other sites. I definitely recommend

I loved my stay at the Oakmoon. I was the only one there for two days, so I had free use of my spacious room, plus the open-plan full kitchen and living room area and the funky little interior patio with hand-painted mural. The house is on a narrow street of mostly private homes and a few bars and restaurants and close to plenty of other restaurants, shops, the marina, cathedral, laundromat, etc. Sarah, the house manager, is friendly and very helpful, if you need anything.

What a fantastic stay. The room and the shower room were huge , spotlessly clean The communal rooms were also spotless and well thought out. The kitchen had multiple appliances to use, although we did not use any. The enclosed outside courtyard was quirky in its design but lovely to sit out in. The host Sara was quick to respond to any inquiries and helpful. Its position within the old part of faro was ideal with so much being within easy walking distance. I would thoroughly recommend this property

The Perfect Place to Stay in Faro

I loved my stay at Oakmoon House! The location is ideal for walking to restaurants, the historic center and other points of interest. My room was spacious with a very comfortable bed and pillows, large fluffy towels and the shutters made the room nice and dark for sleeping. The common areas were lovely, with a large dining table, a living room with comfortable couches and a nice patio area. The very modern kitchen is available for the guests to use. It is huge with everything you would need if you wanted to cook for yourself or just wanted to chill a bottle of wine in the refrigerator during your stay. While breakfast is not provided, coffee and tea is available. And, there were nice touches like motion detector lights in the stairway and halls, a keypad entry for the main door, plenty of outlets in the room, and information brochures and a restaurant guide. Sara was very helpful when I arrived recommending some nearby restaurants and offering some information about the area. It’s clear that a lot of thought went into this place to make it comfortable for the guests. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Faro and can highly recommend it!

Everything you need is in there, except for a body lotion and hair conditioner, so if you need those carry your own. The house is beautiful and very well maintained, and Sara and her team is very very good.

💐 first of all Sara the host was very nice person, smiling Face, very good attitude, helpful for everything. The apartment like a luxury one the room was very big, very sophisticated kitchen etc. The host and staff made me feel as I am at home, highly recommend this place and definitely come back 👏👏👏

Lovely place! Very high spec. Bed very comfortable. The communal kitchen and lounge are like a show home! Noisy revellers as it was carnival and as the area is in a stage of regeneration, I think some revellers didn’t know there were residential properties. Nothing a swift Norther shout out of the window couldn’t fix! Cardin Al!!
