Very friendly old style hotel pleasant staff within 10 mins of town centre . Lots of cyclists every age around easy to hire bikes in centre at to disco shop off main square.Lovely cycle around perimerer of Ferrara outside the the old walls

This boutique hotel is clean, well maintained and charming. It’s family run and despite being a little dated, has a charm to it. Really well located close to the castle and just a block from the center of town. Very solid breakfast!

Very comfortable and quiet room, excellent breakfast (lots of fresh fruit, good coffee, tasty sweet and savoury tarts...) and welcoming staff. The hotel is on a quiet street near the Castello and Ferrara's fascinating Old Town. We would love to return to the hotel.

Fabulous gem of a hotel. Friendly staff who made us feel so welcome and could do enough to help, superb breakfast with so much choice, and comfortable, super clean, quiet rooms. Add to that the fact that it’s in a superb location, less than a minute’s walk to the Castello Estense and the main square. Definitely recommended.

Family run hotel in the heart of Ferrara

Nice small family run hotel right in the heart of Ferrara near everything you want to see as well as some very good restaurants all within walking distance. The Castle is literally right around the corner. Great place and neighborhood to stay in. We would definitely go back here.

Perfect 2 night stay

Friendly and helpful staff, great location with free parking close to hotel. Felt it was good value and would definitely stay again. Comfortable room with quiet aircon. Breakfast was good with variety and quality food. Loved the artwork around the hotel.

The staff were very professional, friendly and helpful. A very nice breakfast was included. Coming off the highway, it seemed somewhat industrial, but once we arrived at the hotel and started exploring the town- it turned out to be very charming. We would highly recommend this hotel.

This is a lovely town. And this hotel very well. Suits the town because it’s also very lovely. It’s a family run business but they do a magnificent job. I would highly recommend staying here and I would certainly return. Should I have a need?

We had a great stay. The staff, especially Antonio, was very hospitable and helpful. Room was spotless clean. Right in the historic center with dining options and shopping. About 20 minute walk to the train station. Fantastic breakfast!!!

The hotel is right in the centre of town, opposite the Castle. It has all the comforts and rooms are quite updated. There is also a mini-bar with decent prices (1euro a little bottle of water in comparison to 3euros at NH). When i arrived for checking, I was welcomed by the scent of home cooked cakes which I then found the following morning for breakfast: the owners are really helpful and kind. Really recommend this hotel.

Unpleasant experience

From the moment we arrived, the receptionist was unpleasant and made us feel as though we were inconveniencing her. She asked for the names under which we had booked our two single rooms, then claimed she had no record of our reservations—all in a condescending, dismissive tone. I explained that I had booked on February 5th through Hotels.com and showed her my confirmation email. She told me to wait while she started up her computer. I could see our names on her screen from where I stood, yet she continued to insist she couldn’t find our reservation. When I finally pointed out that I could see our names, she admitted she didn’t know what had happened and said only one room was available. She never offered an apology and maintained her superior attitude the entire time. I understand mistakes can happen—nobody’s perfect. However, I cannot accept being treated so poorly, especially when the error was not mine.
