In addition to the positives, we unfortunately found many annoying shortcomings and defects that are not commensurate with the rental price... "I have been traveling in Tuscany and Umbria for the last 2 weeks. Of all the places I went this hotel alone made a difference in my travel. Wonderful owner, service staff and chef they are the EPITOME OF HOSPITALITY. It made me realize the next time, I am planning an Italian vacation it will be in Umbria. Once again, I want to thank Palazzo Seneca for making our vacation memorable."

"Such a beautiful property, well maintained with spacious rooms and amazing views. The property is relatively small but is a great find. This is our second visit and we did feel the food was not as good as last time we were here. It is of good quality but we felt it was overpriced and had become too complex, we feel the removal of the buffet breakfast will lead to more waste and was not to our taste."

"Our group of 16 (a mixture of adults and grown up children) had an amazing week at Casa Benessere. The photos of the property do not do it justice as the views of the Sibillini mountains were beautiful. We love Le Marche - it's like Tuscany and Umbria but also has the mountains and the sea. We hired a boat with a skipper from Numana (Conero Fun boat) along the Conero Peninsula and hiked in the Sibillini mountains, both highlights of our trip. It was great to have all ensuite bedrooms and the kitchen is well stocked and easy to cook for a large group. The pool was a real highlight with plenty of sunbeds and parasols for all. We hope we can return to this beautiful area some day. "

Castel di Luco

"Unique and wonderful! We stayed here because we wanted to see the flower fields near Casteluccio. We drove up from Rome in about 4 hours through beautiful mountains. This castle (a former defensive fortification) was a breathtaking sight at the end of the drive. We were warmly greeted by the owners, Francesco and his sister Lara. Our baggage was taken up the stairs via an amazing custom monorail. The room was comfortable and cool, the linens were excellent quality, our sleep was refreshing, and breakfast healthy and satisfying. They feature delicious bottled juices. Francesco gave us a tour of the fascinating historical interior rooms including the winemaking room with the grape stomping vats! I highly recommend Castle di Luco, we will treasure our stay here forever! "
