"My stay at the Hampton Inn in Rockford, IL was simply fantastic. The property was clean and very appealing. All members of the staff that I had contact with were very pleasant in dealing with me. My room was clean, well decorated and all lights and appliances were in perfect working order. This was a great place to stay and was worth the price. "

"Given keys to the room that wasn't even cleaned yet. Staff cleaning didn't speak english and couldn't communicate with us. Front desk manager didn't seem to care, offered to move room but accomodations were made specifically for adjoing rooms. One door almost falling of hinges. Springler hanging out of wall. Beds were hard as a rock. Shower was like warm at best. Very low class and worn. Breakfast was small and minimal for guests. Most food was gone. "

"Great location, we walked to dinner. Great breakfast, comfortable bed but the pillows are too small."

"I did not use the gym nor laundry service. Wash cloths and towels were full and dingy looking. Sheets had dingy spots and in some areas the sheets were just worn out. I requested more sheets and changed my first night. I had to request a complete thorough cleaning for that room. Receptionist and manager were very nice. They understood my complaints and made sure my issues were completed in a timely manner. "

"Rooms were nice, but you could tell it was an older building compared to other motels in the area. No breakfast provided. Staff was nice. Bathroom was small. Lots of places to eat in area. Just a short drive to Hard Rock Casino. "
