「I enjoyed my stay at Ellen Bay Inn. The staff were great and very accommodating. Feels like a family atmosphere. I think the only disadvantage (or could be an advantage in some cases) is it feels a bit “of the beaten path.” It would be challenging to get around with wheels but the staff offered me fairly priced transportation when I didn’t have a rental. Stingray city is within walking distance so that’s an option too. 」

「It was a short drive from the airport. Vhecking was easy and the person at the check hut was great and helpful. Great view of the beach and a short walk across the beach to resturant. I enjiyed my overnight stay, the place was clean」

「Good location. A short walk (500 yards) up a steep hill from the main strip in English Harbour provides amazing views of Nelson’s dockyard near enough to walk to all the restaurants and far enough away from the noise of the nightclubs so the only sound at night are the tree frogs chirping. Annie and Roger are super friendly, helpful and welcoming. 10/10 for staff. Simple but delicious breakfast served on the large terrace overlooking the sea completes the peaceful charm of this colonial style...

「The rooms are too small, only one bar of soap was given to bathe and wash hands, the food was average and there should have more bars available around the surroundings because the lines were too long to stand to get a drink.」

「location was hard to find as you have to use the location given in Expedia. Place was in a nice quiet location. Areas of improvement: sink water was running very very very slowly. Need sink replaced. Toilet would run more often on the second/third day and having to manually hold the stopper down was too much. WiFi was spotty which could have been due to the location. 「The property is in a lovely location, very quiet a a peaceful - you really need a car as nowhere nearby to get supplies, it’s basic, but immaculate and with everything you need. Sharon was very helpful, but we sadly we were unable to meet Gabriela and Douglas on this occasion, we had read such glowing reviews about them. (I hope you are feeling better, and hopefully we may get to come again and meet you). Deep bay is a 20 min walk and is just gorgeous. 」

「A fantastic guesthouse. In a beautiful, quiet location. The room was really spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable. Rose the host was lovely and knew all the places to visit and organised taxi drivers etc. Nothing was too much trouble. I travelled on my own and it felt safe.」
