Good, comfortable B&B

This B&B has all your basic travel needs covered. It’s convenient (near the airport), clean, quiet and comfortable. The room I had was no frills but it provided everything I needed during my stay. The breakfast was excellent with a good variety of items to meet various dietary needs.

Excellent service

The front desk staffs were very friendly especially the day shift. The AM front desk staff proactively asked how my first night was and I told him about the bed. He promised he would follow up and the issue was solved when I came back. Great service and I definitely recommended this hotel. Breakfast was very good too.

Good enough for a night before flight

Easy location close to the airport. Not somewhere I would want to stay multiple nights but a 24€ taxi ride at 4am worthy. Helpful staff. Bed was newer than most places I stayed in Italy.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Our room was with a balcony view over Florence with mountains on one side. The room was clean, breakfast very affordable and delicious. 2 mins away from Tram station to go to city center. Staff was very accommodating and helpful. We left our luggage after checkout at the hotel as well and they accommodated for it.

The property is close to a tram line,.making it convenient to travel downtown. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room was spacious. Cons: Closet space is limited in the rooms. They should add a bit more shelves.

The staff here were very nice and helpful. Alessandro patiently answered all of our questions about how to get around the area, where to eat, etc. He took very good care of us. The breakfast was nice and the lady there was friendly also. The hotel itself is nice, and in a convenient location, but needs some maintenance. Our room had damaged walls and doors and the balcony had crumbling concrete. Our friends room did not have damage and was much nicer and they were on the same floor just 2 doors down. Also, there was a heavy musk perfume smell in the hotel that gave me a headache. The hotel should keep in mind that some people are allergic or sensitive to fragrance.

The property is very convenient to the airport and the Tram 2 line into Florence. It’s also near rental car return area. The front desk staff is very nice but got confused by the fact that we were two gay couples (2 men, 2 women) in two rooms but none of the men were rooming with the women. This in spite of the Inclusivity posters everywhere! It was quite funny!! The tram stop is just 3 blocks away; airport is just a couple of stops away and SMN station is just a 20 minute ride! Alessandro, hope your back gets better! Rooms were tidy and quiet (7th floor). Front desk called us a cab and it arrived in under 5 minutes!

Great location close to the Pantheon, Daniel from staff was amazing. Unfortunately cleaning isnt a top priority plus the towels we receivef were old, crappy and torn. They will charge $5 to get new ones during your stay.

During our stay, we encountered a few concerning issues. First, the washroom lock in the lobby was faulty — my husband got stuck inside because of a glitch. Then around 5 AM, two intoxicated girls tried to get into our room multiple times, making a lot of noise. I'm not sure if they thought it was their old room after checking out or something else, but it felt very unsafe. Reception should have been more vigilant in preventing such incidents. On a positive note, the room itself was clean and the hotel is conveniently close to public transportation.

Basic, clean hostel type accommodations. 10 min direct train to city centre or to airport. Thumbs down for after hours. No staff so you have to check-in using electronic system so make sure your credit card will cover amount because you can’t get a security code if declined (due to over tap limit and you don’t have an actual card) to get to your room. Only time i felt unsafe, like being at an ATM at night with others. Also the screen is huge so others can see all your personal information.

We enjoyed a fantastic stay at this property. Alessandro at the front desk was so incredibly helpful by providing information regarding the (very close) location of the tram and which stop to get off at (San Marco Square) to visit all of historic Florence by foot. He also made superb restaurant recommendations and shared the location for the best gelato in Italy! Alessandro clearly enjoys his job and takes guest experience personally. Carmen is the lovely manager of the property, and when we asked if it was possible to switch to a quieter room (away from the street), she immediately offered not only a quieter room but also arranged for a sweet upgrade to a room on the top floor with a more modern bathroom, balcony and a refrigerator. Levy, who manages the dining room, puts out a beautiful breakfast buffet and Manuele was very helpful at checkout. We chose this property for its free and (gated) secure parking but got so, so much more via the care and attention we received from the team there. The tram into Florence city center is only one block from the hotel and costs less than four euros. There is also a clean and easy to use self-service laundromat less than a half block away. We were genuinely impressed with the property and especially with the people. We are very happy with our choice to stay (3 nights) at this hotel in Florence.
