Wasnt like what was listed. Place had a weird smell. Parking lot is tiny. Beds arent good. Inadequate lighting. Poor kitchen amenities. Not really worth.

Great Experience

I came to Ft. Lauderdale for business and for my birthday and I enjoyed my stay. There was NO DRAMA and I got a lot of work done. My privacy was respected and the communication was ON POINT. It was a nice, cozy space for a bachelor like myself and I would definitely recommend and rebook!

Rustic retreat

My stay was over all, but not great. The place was nice and clean, but had a musty moldy odor. The ceiling above the bed has mold spots bleeding through the paint. Small nats flying from the bathroom drain. Killed 1 cockroach. Internet worked 90%. Seemed to be a hangout for young adults in the courtyard. Other than that, everything was good.

Serious black mold problem

This property had substantial visible black mold growing in a large portion of the ceiling. We contacted the host and did not hear back until the next day though VRBO was handing our concern in the interim. The host and VRBO responded the next day and agreed to reimburse our deposit 100% which was both the right thing to do and greatly appreciated. The host was apologetic and gracious under the circumstances though it is still surprising that they would allow their property to be listed and occupied without doing such a simple check beforehand. Coincidentally, a neighbour two doors down in the same multi-unit building who booked through another platform had the same issue so it would appear the entire building has a problem with mold. I would encourage the host to confirm that the mold problem has been professionally dealt with to reassure future guests before booking.
